Jardim Botânico da Universidade de Zurique

Tal como o nosso Jardim Botânico de Lisboa, também este é um Jardim Botânico no meio da cidade. Mas as semelhanças parece que ficam por aí...

No matter the season, a visit to our Botanic Garden is always rewarding, regardless of whether it relates to a botanical interest, a joy in flowers or simply for relaxation. Here the different senses are always stimulated: the eyes, via the beauty, shapes and colours of the plants; the nose via the wonderful scents, and the touch, via the feel of the different textures of the leaves and bark. With around 9000 different plant species spread over an area of about 53,000 m2 there is always something in flower, not to mention the diversity of fruits and leaves which are also on show. A large meadow and a pond (which is Spring is full of singing frogs) also tempts visitors to spend time in our Gardens.

Entry: Entry is free. Dogs are not allowed in both the Old and New Botanic Gardens. Facilities to secure your dog are positioned at the 107 Zolliker Street entrance (New Botanic Garden) or on the corner of Tal- and Pelikan Streets (Old Botanic Garden). Guide dogs are naturally allowed! Also bicycles, roller blades and skate boards are forbidden. Bicycle stands are located at the entrances to the New Botanic Garden and in the public car parks. In the Old Botanic Garden bicycle stands are located on the corner of Tal- and Pelikan Streets.
